First and foremost, we use LastPass for Business company-wide as our default password manager. Having many portals and credentials across our departments and locations, LastPass for Business helps us keep our credentials safe and secure. We also utilize LastPass for Business' authentication to verify identity to access some applications and securely shared credentials across various departments.
  • Password management
  • Sharing credentials securely
  • Organizational policies
  • Pricing
  • Admin and user portals look a bit dated
  • LastPass for Business does know what sites you have saved, locking that down would be for the best
Simply put, if you have credentials that are used for anything, you should be putting them in a password manager, like LastPass for Business, which will help with the credentials lifecycle. I would recommend taking advantage of shared credential folders as well if you need to share credentials. You can also administer specific policies organizational-wide or group-specific that prevent data loss, set minimum requirements, etc., which we have found helpful.

We use it to share passwords securely with our team and among the business owners. We also use it to share client account passwords and ensure team members are using secure passwords. We use it to securely store payment information. Finally, we use personal accounts to allow us to keep all our passwords in one system. It's nice to be able to share with family members and team members seamlessly. I also like the admin tool to stay on top of our team's level of password security.
  • Complex password enforcement
  • Sharing passwords
  • Team administration
  • Multifactor authentication
  • User interface
  • Recognizing fillable fields
  • Granular sharing
Great for sharing passwords among a team, allowing admins to ensure password strictness rules are followed. It is also helpful for sharing among different teams within a company and with other teams outside the company. We used to be a marketing agency and this was very helpful for collecting our clients' passwords in a secure way, that made them feel safe and that they were not just handing us the keys to their valuable accounts.

We use LastPass to store all company passwords, including things such as computer logins as well website/program logins. We have computer logins stored and shared with the business LastPass admins so that if users are away, others can still access their computers without having sticky notes or notebooks with passwords laying around. It is a great way to also store/create multiple different passwords without having to remember them all, you just need to remember your master one.
  • Ability to store multiple different logins for one site for assistants that work under multiple solicitors.
  • Ability to share passwords between staff when needed without them being sent by email or simply passed around on notes, making it much more secure.
  • Sometimes the ability to share can be hard to do for new users if they don't save to a correct folder.
I think it is suited to all business types as every business has the need to password security and every business needs to conduct accounts online, whether their own, accessing supplier sites, etc. regardless of the business type. I don't there there would be any scenario where LastPass wouldn't be of use to someone.

As a web developer, using a password manager is essential. I have hundreds of logins for tools on top of thousands of credentials for client accounts. LastPass is easy to use on every device and I can access it anywhere. It's made sharing access between team members a breeze. If I have any complaint, it's that the app isn't always stable on Android (Samsung Note 10). At this point, I simply couldn't do my job without it. I highly recommend to anyone in the IT world that has lots of passwords or that works from multiple devices.
  • Storing Secure Passwords & Notes
  • Sharing Credentials Between Team Members
  • Providing Access from Anywhere
  • Launch using a default browser on mobile instead of the LastPass Browser.
  • Make the app more stable for Android.
  • Recognize main domains if the URL saved was some sort of specific URL, so you don't have to go digging if a site has multiple login access points.
I'm not aware of any scenario where LastPass would not be appropriate. I use LastPass for Business for work and I even have it linked to my personal LastPass so that I don't have to switch back and forth. It's great for storing passwords, notes, generating random secure passwords, and more. I used the authenticator app recently and that worked wonderfully as well.

I support multiple clients and need to keep passwords for sensitive accounts - bank, credit card, etc. LastPass takes care of this seamlessly and enables me to share these logins with my team members without compromising the client's data.
  • Create client password folders/groups
  • Share information with other users easily
  • Multifactor authentication protections
  • Admin dashboard could be more intuitive and easy to use.
  • Ability to save shared password in existing "folders".
LastPass handles the storage of countless passwords effortlessly and is a great tool for generating complex passwords on the fly. I can't think of any scenario - business or personal - where LastPass would not be appropriate given the need for tight password controls in the current environment.

As an international technology company with employees spread out across the globe, password management and authentication are essential to the running of our business. LastPass for Business makes it easier for us to securely share our passwords and important notes across the organization. We use LastPass for every department and team at our company.
  • Secure password sharing
  • Multi-factor authentication
  • Secure notes
  • User interface
  • Password resets
  • Chrome Extension gets in the way of text boxes
I would definitely recommend LastPass for Business for any business that has employees who need to securely access encrypted passwords, notes, addresses, or other data that needs multi-factor authentication to access. It is especially effective for teams that are working remotely and need to share secure data. It would be less appropriate for a small, in-office scenario.

We use LastPass for Business to manage the enormous volume of logins for which we're responsible. That responsibility is a huge liability for us...so we choose LastPass for Business because we can easily manage and make secure, logins to mission-critical business processes for our clients. And it makes sharing those logins internally a breeze. No more "who's got that password I wrote on a Post-It note?"
  • Secure sensitive logins.
  • Generate secure passwords.
  • Enable two-factor authentication in one platform we're already using.
  • Sharing could be more granular; for individual logins for example.
  • The management console is a little wonky. Could use a UX facelift. A lot of it doesn't make sense to me. I feel like I'm re-learning how to use the admin every time I have to use it.
If you have multiple people who need access to the same logins on a regular basis, this is the perfect solution. It gives everyone access to passwords, in a secure place, and gives them the opportunity to update passwords, add information...or you can lock down their access to be read-only.

I am quickly able to log onto websites with security that I trust. I am also able to use Lastpass on my cell phone. I feel that my financial institution access and data are protected when I use Lastpass in conjunction with two-factor verification.
  • Reliable access to frequently used web sites
  • Safety access to financial sites
  • Works well with two factor verification
  • I find that sometimes it is difficult to restart after exiting my browser and I have to go through the long password and two-factor authorization too frequently on my office desktop.
It is most helpful and secure on financial institution websites with double two-factor authorization.

LastPass for Business ensures we comply with GDPR rules around saving sensitive information in a secure manner. We disabled saving passwords in the browser and mandated the use of LastPass. When linking a private vault, private accounts are automatically saved in the private vault. We also use it to share accounts within departments.
  • Autofill on IOS.
  • Share passwords with others.
  • Use their Authenticator app as a second factor.
  • Android app - it often does not pop up when using autofill.
  • Browser extension can be slow when logging in.
  • Support is US based so can be slow for EU citizens.
It works well in business settings where you want to define policies on how LastPass for Business should behave. Single Sign-On also is nice to have a method. You can share MFA codes when using the browser extensions. On iOS it works flawlessly. But on Android autofill often does not work, leading to frustration for users. You can choose for the data location to be US or EU if you ask for it.

We use LastPass for Business in our organization to manage all the passwords that we have for our customer systems. We are addressing the problem of getting away from using a common password for those systems, and can randomly generate them, thereby increasing security. The scope is pretty wide, due to the number of clients we have, and also, it's a way we can provide this same service to our customers who have for years relied on Post-It notes to the monitor, or under the keyboard.
  • Random password generation.
  • Integration into Chrome browser for ease of filling out login.
  • Easy to use interface to browse and manage all passwords.
  • Easily shared out over our organization.
  • At times, I believe the timeout on the software is a bit too soon. I believe once authenticated, you should be signed in for at least 15-30 days.
  • When filling out forms for login, sometimes the LastPass for Business button overlaps the eyeball icon to reveal what you are typing, making it difficult to see.
  • Sometimes when searching for information in the Vault, I have noticed that it will not respond to the search criteria. It will appear as if nothing exists, but if you scroll down to it, it's there. So something with the interface needs improving.
LastPass for Business is suitable for those in business that has access to multiple websites with sensitive information. People such as the accounting department, human resources, and the like should be using a password manager, and to that end, randomly generated passwords to mitigate hacking. It is also well suited for any MSP that has to manage a plethora of passwords for servers, website logins, etc. This may not be appropriate for businesses that are comprising a sole proprietor, or 5 persons. This is more for larger organizations in my experience.

It is a great password management solution. Every employee manages their own passwords while sharing passwords to some corporate accounts with other employees. Everything is transparent and seamless whether using Macs, Windows, iOS, or Android. Also, managers can change the shared credentials and notify the users that share access or not. It is transparent. Next time they need to authenticate, it will just use the latest set of credentials.
  • desktop and laptop browser integration via plugin
  • smartphone app for automatic authentication on apps and browsers
  • ability to share credentials with others
  • password vault has security assessments and scores
  • better integration on iOS, seems to work slightly better on Android
  • better integration with windows 10/11 desktops, right now is a separate application
  • plugin for Firefox seems underpowered compared with the plugin for Chrome/Edge
LastPass for Business is a great password manager. It keeps all the credentials in sync over the cloud. It just needs to remember one password, and you can set the vault to unlock using fingerprint, face, or other methods. The ability to share credentials with other users makes it a breeze to allow others in the organization to access credentials without having to email them or send them otherwise.

I am using this app since a long time. Best part having dual password security with one master password and other for internal note. As the data is more secure to maintain nessessory important notes and passwords as well. It sync with mobile app when you change your mobile device in that case authentication process is secured to login in new device.
  • Password manager
  • Dual password security
  • Authentication process along with biometric thumb impression
  • Few time it get auto logout
  • In case of minimise the screen, it should ask again for biometric finger touch login for more security
I would love to share that all the important details, password, notes are securely stored in LastPass for Business. There are multiple password with multiple applications used, so quite difficult to maintain those. LastPass for Business overcomes this problem.

We have a few seasoned employees who have terrible password management and security. For example, one would consistently use the company name as a password. If passwords required numbers of symbols it would be 'companyname12345!' or something similar. To make things worse, these employees would consistently forget passwords meaning they either write them down (in plain text in a notepad). I purchased LastPass for our business in an effort to curtail these practices. While gaining full adoption is difficult (see, previous section about employees), we have slowly been switching passwords and accounts to LastPass. For those that we have switched it is working quite well. I can give specific employees access to specific accounts/passwords. A nice thing about this product is I can share the account without having to share the actual passwords with employees. This increases security.
  • Managing paswords
  • Sharing passwords with employees
  • Setting secure passwords
  • Multi-factor authentication (for those who use it)
  • Managing users is a bit counterintuitive
  • Implementation (getting employee buy on) is a bit difficult
  • Sometimes passwords do not work if you only share permissions (not passwords)
LastPass for business, while not the perfect end all-be all, is a valuable tool for keeping passwords safe and managing passwords across employees. The password generation tool and ability to share credentials with specific employees (without sharing the password itself) is the strongest feature of LastPass. The issues we have had deal with adoption as there are still a few employees having difficulty installing / understanding how LastPass works.

With owning a creative solutions company, I utilize a multitude of websites for images, programs, designing, social media, and much more. There is no way that I want to use the same password for each of the hundreds of websites I use each day and that is where LastPass has been a game-changer. It is perfect for storing logins, payment info, and for 2-factor authentication. The chrome extension makes it extremely easy to log in to the accounts with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. And the same goes for the app. It is very simple to use and uses face unlock to log into my apps.
  • Chrome extension for easy account login and for saving new account passwords.
  • 2-factor authentification.
  • Syncing between devices.
  • The biggest drawback is the price. It used to be free but not anymore and there are some other free password managers still out there.
I have tried a few different password managers and LastPass excelled at popping up on my phone when I need to log in. I have used other programs that I had to leave the app's login screen to open the password manager app and search for the app in order to receive my login details to be used on the original app I wanted to open in the first place. LastPass opens up my password info 99% of the time for the app I am using which saves the annoyance of opening LastPass to try to find the specific app login details. Where it falls a little short for me is that the free version used to include phone and desktop and now it is just one of those options. I use a variety of devices and having it on both my computer and phone is a must.

We use LastPass for Business mainly as a secure password manager for our staff. It works well, is secure, and is seamless for users. I like that it provides management for all users in one dashboard.
  • Password management.
  • Multi-factor Authentication.
  • Security policies.
  • Can get expensive when using for many users.
  • Browser interface does not always work in my experience.
  • Shared folders setup can be confusing in my opinion.
Lastpass for Business works well as a password manager, so much better than having staff store passwords on paper, etc. It can get expensive though when you have a large staff.

LastPass for Business has been our lifesaver for any password-related requirement from password manager to SSO. We have certain sets of business subscriptions with Jira, LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, etc. which have to be shared in a controllable manner, and LastPass gives us the ability and platform to do so. Earlier, a manual process of the same was followed where we used to send the passwords via email and it became so tedious at some point, it was not in control. As our team was growing, we had to make a change to an efficient process, and being a long-time user of LastPass personally, I knew this is the only way to go.
  • Single sign on
  • Multi-factor authentication
  • Password manager
  • Password sharing
  • The mobile app as well as Chrome plugin is buggy sometimes.
  • Sharing of passwords could be more seamless.
  • Identical logins and credentials.
For SSO, MFA, and password management, this is a great tool and saves a lot of hustle. I think there's no specific thing where LastPass for Business can't be used as this is a trusted and secure way of managing passwords. So I would say whenever there is anything related to passwords, LastPass for Business is the way to go.

LastPass for Business is a fantastic software solution for so many reasons! We use it because "too many tabs are open", and it's just exhausting having to always remember passwords, email addresses, accounts, and payment cards. It's vital for us to maintain lengthy passwords (20+ characters) and LastPass makes this so easy. My team can access the sites they need, when they need, without having to ask - and that's a massive load off my shoulders. It's secure, easy to use, and absolutely the most important tool in our arsenal. I wouldn't run a business, or a family, without it.
  • Autofill - it auto-fills your account details (and payment cards) with just one click. Incredible timesaver.
  • Password Generator - it creates unique and secure passwords automagically, one less thing to worry about.
  • Secure Notes - it has a place to store secure notes, like insurance policies, bank accounts, driver's license numbers/images, wi-fi passwords, database/servers, software licenses, etc.
  • Payment Cards - great for adding credit cards, personal and business, that you can use to fill in for online/mobile shopping. It's easily one of the best features!
  • Two-Factor Authentication
  • It doesn't always work. There are times, I will have to log in to the app, copy the login/pass, then go back to the previous website/app to input my details. It can be a little cumbersome and iffy. It sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, and I have yet to figure out why. It's not a deal-breaker, just takes a little more time. Still wouldn't be caught without it.
  • Sometimes buggy when searching for a certain login/pass when there are multiple saved accounts for that site.
For any business that needs/wants to save time and/or money, LastPass for Business is a necessity. It's a game-changer and will release the burden of having to remember so many important details, for you and your team. No more fear, concern, or anxiety about losing or forgetting - just a deep breath of fresh air, something that the business world needs, and something that is often overlooked or over complicated. It solves so many problems at once, with ease.

My family uses LastPass for the same reasons as above. I have access to my mom's LastPass account, meaning that all of their important details, accounts, and files are just a click away if something were to happen. There's security in that, and it just makes our life easier.

We are using LastPass for Business across the whole organization. It was tested by 3 team members before introducing it to the rest of the organization. At the time, we were tightening our IT security and requiring the team to update their passwords. With LastPass, we can create a variety of complicated passwords without the risk of forgetting and getting locked out of applications.
  • Safely stores passwords.
  • Allows you to categorize websites and add notes to their profile.
  • Requests user authentication before auto-filling passwords.
  • I haven't come across any challenges so I have no opinions either way.
This would be a good tool for parents managing family accounts.

LastPass for business allows our employees to securely manage their logins for services we use. It also allows teams to collaborate using shared resources such as secure notes, document sharing, and access management to logins that groups share credentials for. Over the years, LastPass has improved their chrome extension, making it easier for our employees to use this from their first day. Tools available to administrators has also improved along with documentation for security considerations.
  • Generating secure passwords
  • Implementing 2 factor authentication
  • Creation of secure notes for sensitive information
  • Chrome extension sometimes lags when logging in
LastPass for Business is great for onboarding new employees and creating a framework for using services at work securely. Documentation makes it easy for administrators to implement their own internal security policies and understand changes to services that occur when LastPass provides feature updates.

LastPass is being used by my organization as a means to securely share login credentials for certain third-party services as well as store login information for individual user accounts with certain other systems. The entire organization is using LastPass and as such has enabled us to monitor usage, password strength, and better control access to our accounts.
  • Encourage good passwords: with the ability to easily generate a good, secure password that doesn't need to be typed in moving forward, it encourages users to have good passwords since they don't need to think of them and then remember them later on.
  • Credential sharing: with the team solution it is very easy to share credentials when needed and revoke access when complete without ever revealing the password.
  • Browser integration: the browser plugin makes it easy to use as it is always available whenever a password/login is required.
  • Sharing outside the organization could be improved by not being limited to 5 users per shared folder as sometimes it is necessary to share credentials to more people.
  • I haven't had much luck with the automatic password change feature for some services, but that's really not a big deal.
LastPass is well suited when operating within an organization that has a lot of people coming and going who need to have access to restricted resources. We make use of a lot of interns and it is nice to be able to grant access to various services through LastPass when they arrive (never sharing the actual passwords) and then easily remove access when their internship ends. LastPass is also well suited in enforcing good security practices with strong passwords.

I've used LastPass as a password vault mainly for the last 4 years; they have a good balance between security and usability. They have found the right direction to avoid the need of having to remember all your security-related identities. I love how LastPass addresses the need for a single library with all your online passwords.
  • Password vault
  • Browser integration
  • Multiple device usage
  • Automatic login
  • Freeware offering
  • Multi-factor authentication
This is perfectly suited for users who are normally using "sticky notes" or Excel spreadsheets as their own password libraries. That's not secure and can be compromised by anyone. The solution provides a very easy-to-use design and it can be easy to understand how to navigate and keep your identities safe.

LastPass is a reliable tool. We are using it in our organization for securing our business account passwords because it is a single platform available in the market which is giving outstanding protection. The authentication policy of this software does not put its customers in any qualm and enigma as it is quite simple. The feature I like the most is the option of adding trusted friends who help in an emergency if my software gets hang or any trouble occurs. I can easily share passwords among my employees. It allows me to build powerful passwords by keeping me informed regarding its strength.
  • LastPass has lessened my worries to a great degree since it secures and shields all of my personal information.
  • I not only use it for my business purposes but also avail it for my personal life to connect with my friends and family.
  • It saves my time of entering and re-entering my passcodes since it auto-fills the spaces once it saves them.
  • It also saves information regarding my credit card according to my choice.
  • I feel secure with the security of two-factor authentication.
  • Browser extension is the more smart way of synchronizing passwords.
  • Sometimes, I have to face some delays while logging in.
  • Password resetting must be easy and secure.
  • Data encryption security features lack some advanced options which are available in other password protection tools.
I believe that an employee or an online business professional can’t have such privacy that he receives via LastPass. It saves information about credit cards, shopping cards, Wi-Fi, and the rest of the business passwords so it will help you if you even forget the information. The master password is an amazing feature that will enable you to reach the security and password settings. There is only one master password which is needed to be remembered in the mind otherwise it has given much easiness.

We work a lot in account management with dozens of clients at a time. As such, we need somewhere to store all of our passwords for easy access when logging in. LastPass works so great because we can use this software across all the various websites. It has simplified our login process.
  • Password management.
  • Password sharing with coworkers.
  • High security master password.
  • Sometimes the LastPass icon doesn't come up when an auto-fill-in login shows up on a site.
LastPass is the best solution for password across multiple accounts on the same page. If it's just one person, having the Business side of the account might not be worth the price, they could just afford a basic account.
